The body of former American football star Philip Adams was found in South Carolina on Thursday morning, where he committed suicide after killing 5 people.
Adams shot and killed 5 people, including the prominent doctor Robert Leslie (70 years) and his wife Barbara (69 years), as well as their two grandsons Ada and Noah (ages 9 and 5) before ending his life at a later time.
He also found the body of James Lewis (38 years old) who was working in the house that Adams had attacked.

"There is nothing that makes any sense to either of us at this time," said York County Mayor Kevin Tolson.

He explained that evidence at the scene of the accident prompted police to see Adams as a suspect.
After they went to the former player's parents' house to try to talk to him, they found him killed by one gunshot wound in his bedroom.
