On Thursday, the RKI showed a value of 132.8 cases per 100,000 inhabitants within 7 days, after 139.1 on Wednesday.

According to the information, 714 new corona infections and 18 new deaths related to the virus were reported to the RKI nationwide within 24 hours.

The RKI points out that around the Easter holidays fewer people went to the doctor, and fewer people were tested and examined in the laboratories.

In addition, it is possible that not all authorities transmit data every day.

According to the RKI, the nationwide seven-day incidence was 110.4 on Friday after 105.7 on Thursday; more than 250 400 Covid-19 cases had been reported.

After the neighboring states of Thuringia (186.8) and Saxony (150.9), Saxony-Anhalt has the highest number of infections nationwide.

An incidence of 129.0 was reported for Bavaria.

The RKI data showed the highest incidence of infection on Friday morning for the Stendal district, where the seven-day incidence was 192.5, followed by the Burgenland district with 190.1.

In the Harz district the value was 169.2.

The district of Jerichower Land had the lowest number in the country with 74.8 new infections reported per 100,000 inhabitants and seven days.
