Five months after the jihadist attack on the basilica of Nice, the anti-terrorism claims to have foiled a plan of action against a church in the Hérault: the suspect, a young woman of 18 years from Béziers, was indicted and incarcerated Thursday April 8.

The young woman threatened to attack a church on the occasion of the Easter holidays last weekend, but she was arrested on the night of April 3 to 4 with her mother and her three sisters.

Out of school for two years, and unknown to the intelligence services, she wanted to " 

take revenge against the Republic and its institutions

 ", according to a source familiar with the matter.

Several items found during the search

According to the National Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor's Office, investigators found several elements implicating her during the search of her home: products to make explosives, two potential improvised explosive devices being assembled, as well as jihadist documentation.

They also got their hands on "

" as well as a notebook containing a diagram of a church located near the suspect's home and a handwritten recipe for making it. explosives.

After a preliminary investigation and a four-day police custody, she was therefore presented to an examining magistrate who therefore indicted her, in particular for "terrorist association".
