The Thai government has announced that it will temporarily close bars and nightclubs in various areas in response to a series of outbreaks of the new coronavirus in the entertainment district of the capital Bangkok.



The local Japanese ambassador also visited the night club where the outbreak occurred last month, and the ambassador was subsequently confirmed to be infected.

In Thailand, the number of new infections on the 9th and 1st is increasing again, with the outbreak of new coronavirus outbreaks occurring one after another at bars and nightclubs in Bangkok's entertainment district late last month. There are 559 people nationwide.



Under these circumstances, the Thai government held a press conference on the 9th and announced that it will close facilities such as bars and nightclubs for 10 to at least 14 days in 41 areas where infection has been confirmed, including Bangkok.

In the red-light district, the first confirmed mutant virus in the United Kingdom is spreading, which is more serious than previous infections.



The local Japanese embassy also revealed that Ambassador Kazuya Nashida also visited a nightclub in Bangkok where the outbreak occurred late last month, and the infection was confirmed on the 3rd of this month.



In Thailand, consecutive holidays will start on the 10th, and many people are expected to move during travel and homecoming, so the government is becoming more vigilant.
