IVA manager: "It is very stressful and we have to give up important operations"

These are important operations that we refrain from, says Robert Svensson, operations manager for IVA at Vrinnevis Hospital.

IVA has had this condition for more or less a year now.

A lot of extra workouts make the business work.

- This is not a good healthcare situation for the population and no resources to replenish, it does not exist.

IVA in Norrköping actually has six regular places.

Now, since the pandemic hit, they have 14 places and still have to apply for days to send patients to other regions.

- We go to the max and must always try to use our resources as wisely as possible.
