After the “yellow vests”, or even the climate, participatory democracy now seems to be winning over discrimination.

Until May 31, everyone can therefore respond to this online consultation to alert them to discrimination they encounter in several areas of daily life.

Eight major themes have been defined, such as employment, access to public services or disability.

But if everyone is invited to propose solutions, where the problem is that this consultation will not lead to a law.

The Minister in charge of Citizen Participation, Marc Fesneau, has already warned that he does not want citizens to be disappointed, because too many laws are passed without being followed up.

Instead of a law, therefore, in-depth workshops will be set up, after May 31, to find ways to quickly materialize the wishes of the population.
