Hamburg (dpa / lno) - According to a forecast by the Central Institute for Statutory Health Insurance in Germany (Berlin), all Hamburgers willing to vaccinate could be protected against Corona until mid-July.
It is assumed that 80 percent of adults wanted to be vaccinated and that the vaccine would be delivered in the quantities announced by the Federal Ministry of Health, said institute spokesman Daniel Wosnitzka on Friday.
Then all those willing to vaccinate would have their first vaccination by June 6th and their second vaccination by July 18th.
The Hamburg health authority neither wanted to confirm nor reject this prognosis.
There are only specific vaccine delivery commitments until the end of April.
In the best case scenario, however, the forecast could come true.
"If more vaccine comes, more will be vaccinated, and the vaccination speed increases," said authority spokesman Martin Helfrich.
