Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - Due to the persistently high corona incidence numbers, there will be exit restrictions in two other districts in North Rhine-Westphalia.

In the Märkischer Kreis, people are now only allowed to leave their apartments after 9 p.m. in very limited exceptional cases, as the state government said on Friday.

In addition, the Siegen-Wittgenstein district applied for approval on Friday for a general decree with an exit restriction from 9 p.m., which the Ministry of Health will issue.

The number of new infections per inhabitant within a week in both circles was well above the value of 200 for a long time and in some cases well beyond the Easter days, it was said to justify.

On Friday morning, according to data from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the seven-day incidence in the Märkisches Kreis was still 186.5 and in the Siegen-Wittgenstein district 169.0.

According to the state government, exit restrictions already apply in the Minden-Lübbecke district (124.0).

The Ministry of Health is in talks on the subject with other municipalities in which the incidence is well above the national average.

On Friday, the weekly incidence in NRW was 108.6 according to the RKI.
