Egypt .. A judge was referred for investigation because his phone rang during a court session

The competent judicial authorities in Egypt referred for investigation, the judge who had fined himself for violating the session order, when his mobile phone rang in an incident that is the first of its kind in the history of the Egyptian judiciary.

Today, Thursday, the President of the State Council in Egypt issued a decision to refer Judge Mohsen Klopp, Head of the Administrative Court in Aswan for investigation, after he fined himself an amount of 500 pounds, while he was examining the court session for breaching the session order when his mobile phone rang during its session.

And the State Council in Aswan, southern Egypt, decided to transfer Counselor Mohsen Klopp from the presidency of the Administrative Judiciary Court in Aswan to a member of the Cairo Administrative Court, the Ninth Circuit, for compensation and referred him for investigation.

Yesterday, Wednesday, a court in Egypt witnessed an incident, the first of its kind in the history of the Egyptian judiciary;

A judge fined himself for disrupting the hearing.

Counselor Mohsen Klopp, Vice President of the State Council and President of the Administrative Court in Aswan, issued a decision to impose a fine on himself of 500 pounds ($ 31.85).

Because he caused the session to be obstructed while he was considering one of the cases, according to Al-Masry Al-Youm.
