Essen (dpa / lhe) - After the April weather with snow, sleet and thunderstorms, the Hessians can prepare for calmer weather in the coming days.

The showers are subsiding and it is getting milder, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Thursday.

In the morning it was still very cloudy in the north and there were last snow showers.

Otherwise it is cloudy and free of precipitation.

In the course of the day it finally loosens from the southwest - with maximum temperatures of six to nine degrees.

It is also dry on Friday.

While it was very cloudy in the north, it was sometimes sunny in the south, it was said.

The temperatures continue to climb to a maximum of 12 to 15 degrees.

On the night of Saturday, however, rain spreads again.

According to the DWD, rainy and uncomfortable weather must be expected on the weekend.
