The U.S. Olympic Committee has expressed its opposition to the boycott of the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in Beijing.

"I don't believe that young American athletes should be used as political soothers," said Susan Ryans, chairman of the US Olympic Committee. "I oppose the Beijing Winter Olympics boycott."

"Boycott doesn't deal effectively with international issues," said Ryans. "It's about having a negative impact on players as well."

"The only dream for players is to represent the United States and what we stand for on the international stage," said Mr. Ryans.

"It's not clear that we want to reduce the serious human rights problem in China," said Mr. Ryans.

Earlier, at a briefing yesterday (7th), US State Department spokesman Ned Price replied "I definitely want to discuss the boycott issue" when asked if he would join the Beijing Olympics joint boycott with allies, resulting in an interpretation that the possibility of a boycott was open. .

As the controversy over the Beijing Olympic boycott grew, White House spokesman Jen Saki went on to evolving the controversy, stating that "we have never discussed any joint boycotts with allies."
