After the men reported their company to the police, they were fired.
SVT meets two of them outside their old workplace in the Centralen area of the Västlänken project.

According to the men, for two years all overtime pay, OB and the like went back to the company they worked for.
In practice, they should have been allowed to take out almost half of the net salary and leave it in the hands of the boss.
If it did not fit, they could be quickly sent back to Turkey, they say they were told.

The conflict with the company, which is a subcontractor to NCC in the construction of Västlänken, led to the men being fired.
They are registered for attempted extortion.
The vice president tells SVT that all accusations are unfounded, and shows a letter signed by the other employees stating that they have not experienced any threats or extortion of any kind.
