Kiel (dpa / lno) - The hospitality industry in Schleswig-Holstein has reacted with relief to the opening of outdoor restaurants announced by the government for Monday - "Now the companies are happy that they are allowed to open outside," said the general manager of the German hotel and restaurant Restaurant Association in the country, Stefan Scholtis, on Thursday the German Press Agency.
"The companies are already furnishing their terraces and are desperately waiting for the go."
The state government has announced the corresponding state ordinance for the weekend.

Outdoor catering is only a small part of the industry. Many businesses have no outdoor catering at all.
"These companies must also be given the opportunity to pursue their profession," said Scholtis.

Prime Minister Daniel Günther (CDU) confirmed on Wednesday that outdoor restaurants can open from Monday.
This is linked to strict conditions.
The possibility of opening exists in districts and independent cities in which the number of new corona infections per 100,000 inhabitants is stable below 100 within seven days - which has recently been the case everywhere with the exception of the Segeberg district.
As of Wednesday evening, the country had the lowest nationwide value of 63.3.

From Monday, a maximum of five people from two households are allowed to sit at one table in the outdoor area of restaurants.
Children under the age of 14 do not count.
Medical protective masks are compulsory, guests are only allowed to take them off at the table.
The restaurateurs must ensure contact follow-up.
