As a young scientist, you once spent 24 hours with a domestic pig in the forest.
what happened there?
Per Jensen:
That was an overwhelming experience.
It happened as part of a project we wanted to find out more about pig behavior.
Back in the 1980s, it was assumed that domesticated pigs had little evidence of the behavior of their wild ancestors.
But we have released a pregnant sow into freedom.
