Schleswig (dpa / lno) - The order of the city of Flensburg to keep the retail trade in the city largely closed will remain in place until further notice.

The administrative court of Schleswig decided this in an urgent procedure, the court announced on Thursday.

With the decision, the judges rejected an urgent application from several Flensburg car dealerships against a corresponding order from the City of Flensburg.

(Ref. 1 B 50/21)

Due to the continued high number of infections on March 29, the decision to continue closing large parts of the retail trade.

This order has not become illegal because the incidence figures have fallen in the past few days, according to the statement of the court.

Rather, it makes perfect sense to leave the restrictions in force until the end of this week in order to be able to determine a sustainable stabilization of the values at a lower level, it says.

This applies in particular with a view to the limited number of tests over Easter, which means that new infections are only shown with a delay, said a court spokesman.

Incidentally, "relaxation plans" inevitably lead to unequal treatment for a limited period of time, the communication says.
