Berlin (dpa / bb) - Many Berliners leave opportunities for free corona rapid tests unused.
One month after the start of the offer, only a third (32 percent) of the test sites are used, as the health administration announced on Thursday at a dpa request.
The highest utilization of the existing test capacities was reached shortly before Easter on April 1st with 62 percent.
According to the information, there are now around 300 test stations in Berlin with a capacity of 130,000 tests per day or around 900,000 tests per week.
Anyone can have themselves tested there free of charge - several times a week if necessary - and receive a certificate.
