Earlier, Kommersant reported that Zoom Video Communications had banned its distributors from selling access to the online conference service to government agencies and state-owned companies in Russia and the CIS.

It is noted that the publication got acquainted with the letter of the distributor of Zoom solutions in Russia and the CIS "RightConf" to partners dated March 31.

Aleksandr Bashkin, a member of the Federation Council Committee on Constitutional Legislation, commenting on the situation, said that "if Zoom makes such a decision in relation to government agencies and state-owned companies, it is possible to block this service on the territory of our country as a reciprocal, symmetrical measure."
