Dresden (dpa / sn) - those eligible for vaccination in priority group three - i.e. people aged 60 and over - can book vaccination appointments at the Saxon vaccination centers from (tomorrow) Thursday.
The Ministry of Social Affairs announced on Wednesday in Dresden that around 50,000 vaccination appointments with the Astrazeneca vaccine would be available by the middle of April.
According to the information, the appointments can only be booked via the online portal sachsen.impfterminvergabe.de.
The first dates should already be available on Friday.
The vaccine from Astrazeneca is expected to be available in doctors' offices from mid-April, it said.
As the German Red Cross announced, interested parties who have not yet registered for a vaccination by phone or via the online booking portal can only use the vaccine from the category "People who are over 60 years old (without prioritization)" during the authorization check Select manufacturer Astrazeneca ».
