The Ministry of Social Affairs announced on Wednesday in Dresden that around 50,000 vaccination appointments with the Astrazeneca vaccine would be available by the middle of April.

According to the information, the appointments can only be booked via the online portal sachsen.impfterminvergabe.de.

The first dates should already be available on Friday.

The vaccine from Astrazeneca is expected to be available in doctors' offices from mid-April, it said.
