Three men, suspected of being involved in a theft, committed in a meeting, were arrested and placed in police custody Tuesday by the gendarmes of Lunel (Hérault).

On April 2, two of them had been put to flight by a person, on the ground of a neighbor, in a village near Lunel, report the services of the gendarmerie.

Summoned to court

As they fled, pursued by the neighbor, the suspects had left in their course five jars, containing around 150,000 euros in banknotes.

A complaint was lodged by the owner for the theft of his savings.

The suspects will soon have to explain themselves to justice.
