In the city of Pushkino, in the Moscow province, a pensioner in a state of extreme poverty cooked an omelette over the perennial flame in front of the “Mother of Sorrows” monument.

A passer-by addressed her, but the woman replied that she needed hot dishes, to live without electricity and to skimp on the house gas.

The woman was identified and stopped by the police.

Accused of insulting the bodies of the fallen and desecrating the place of burial, she now faces a fine of 400 euros, plus 360 hours of public works or arrest for 3 months.
