People's Strength Kim Jong-in, chairman of the Emergency Response Committee, said, "I think public sentiment has exploded," when it was predicted that both Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon and Busan Mayor Park Hyeong-joon will win overwhelming victories as a result of the re-election exit survey.

Chairman Kim said, "I would like to express my gratitude to the citizens of Seoul and Busan," after hearing the results of the exit survey from the three broadcasting companies in the Power of the People's Election Situation Room.

Chairman Kim commented, "It's a bit more appropriate to talk about the election results with only an exit reporter," but said, "I think it was an election that won the common sense of the people."

He repeatedly expressed his gratitude, saying, "Busan seems to have a wider gap than Seoul, and I think this is a sign of anger against the government of the Korean people today."

As a result of a joint exit survey conducted by three terrestrial broadcasters including SBS, it was predicted that candidate Oh Se-hoon beat Democratic candidate Park Young-sun (37.7%) and Democratic candidate Kim Young-chun (33%) with 59%, and Park Hyeong-jun with 64%.
