Kaiserslautern (AP) - Third division soccer team FSV Zwickau secured an important point in the relegation battle with a goal by Jozo Stanic in the fifth minute of stoppage time to equalize 2: 2 (0: 0) in the away game at 1. FC Kaiserslautern.

Manfred Starke had put the Saxons in the lead on Wednesday (60th), before the Palatinate turned the game with goals from Philipp Hercher (64th) and Steffen Nkansah (71th / own goal).

From the 76th minute, the Zwickau team played after the red card for Kaiserslautern's Anil Gözütok (gross foul) in the majority.

In an eventful first half, FSV initially had the better chances.

Ronny König failed after a cross from Felix Drinkuth with a header from goalkeeper Avdo Spahic (4th).

In the 19th minute, Manfred Starke headed the crossbar, and Kaiserslautern's Marvin Senger cleared the rebounding ball just before the goal line.

FSV goalkeeper Johannes Brinkies then saved his team from falling behind with strong saves against Marlon Ritter (23rd) and Felix Götze (24th).

At the beginning of the second round, the Zwickau team took control of the game and after an hour they deservedly took the lead.

After a free kick, König headed the ball to Starke, who hit from 20 meters with a precise shot.

The Palatinate struck back just four minutes later.

A shot from Hercher from an acute angle hit the FSV goal.

Kaiserslautern got a boost from the goal and turned the game around in the 71st minute.

An input from Hendrick Zuck faked Nkansah unhappily and thereby steered the ball into his own goal.

In the final phase, the FSV threw everything forward and came in the fifth minute of stoppage time by Stanic to equalize.
