The updated situation in Italy and in the world



Today's data on the pandemic in Italy, provided by the Ministry of Health.

Today there are 13,708 new cases with 339,939 swabs and 627 victims.



Yesterday 7,767 cases with 112,962 swabs (rate at 6.9%) and 421 victims.



In Piedmont 1,464 cases and 79 deaths


Today the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region reported 1,464 new cases of people who tested positive for Covid-19 (of which 194 after antigen tests), equal to 6.1% of the 24,097 swabs performed, of which 13,153 antigenic.

Of the 1,464 new cases, 612 were asymptomatic (41.8%).

There are 357 hospitalized in intensive care (- 13 compared to yesterday).

There are 3,889 hospitalized patients not in intensive care (+7 compared to yesterday).

There are 27,276 people in home isolation.

There are 79 deaths of positive people in the Covid-19 test reported by the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region, of which 2 occurred today.

A total of 282,424 healed patients (+2,651 compared to yesterday).



In Campania 1,358 new cases and 34 deaths


There are 1,358 new positives recorded in Campania out of 14,520 molecular swabs performed.

The cases are divided into 842 asymptomatic and 516 symptomatic.

The Crisis Unit of the Campania Region reported this, also reporting the carrying out of 1,550 antigenic swabs.

The report also indicates 66 deaths, 34 in the last 48 hours, and 2,087 recoveries.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the number of deceased has therefore been updated to 5,653, that of the healed to 252,199.

As regards the number of beds, a decrease in patients in intensive care should be reported: yesterday they were 160 today 149. Availability remains at 656. Out of the 3,160 hospital beds available, including covid and private offer, 1,606 are occupied, three more of yesterday.



Veneto 1,111 cases and 103 deaths

The new cases registered since yesterday are 1,111, with the total at 391,053.

Lazio, 1,081 new cases and 47 deaths


Today out of over 13,000 swabs in Lazio (+5,989) and over 23,000 antigenic for a total of over 37,000 tests, there are 1,081 positive cases (-39), 47 deaths (+4 ) and +1,801 the healed.

Cases and intensive care are decreasing, while hospitalizations and deaths are increasing.

The ratio between positives and buffers is 8%, but if we also consider the antigenic the percentage is 2%.

There are 500 cases in Rome city. Today reservations are open for the years 65 and 64 (ie those born in 1956 and 1957).

Everything is taking place regularly and there are already over 35 thousand bookings made.

First signs of a drop in cases, down today compared to yesterday (-39) and especially compared to Wednesday of last week (-719) and the employment rates of intensive care units are decreasing.



Tuscany, 937 new cases and 41 deaths


In Tuscany there are 204,347 cases of Coronavirus positivity, 937 more than yesterday (918 confirmed with molecular swab and 19 by rapid antigen test).

The healed reach 170,444 (83.4% of total cases).

Today, 11,971 molecular swabs and 15,298 rapid antigenic swabs have been performed.

The currently positive are today 28,352.

The hospitalized are 1,999, of which 275 in intensive care (4 less).

Today there are 41 new deaths.



Emilia-Romagna, 576 cases and 57 deaths


Since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, 345,753 positive cases have been recorded in Emilia-Romagna, 576 more than yesterday, out of a total of 31,860 swabs performed in the last 24 hours.

Unfortunately, there are 57 new deaths.

In total, there have been 12,246 deaths in the region since the beginning of the epidemic.



In Calabria 292 new cases and 8 deaths


In Calabria to date 646,152 subjects have been subjected to tests for a total of 687,923 swabs performed.

The people who tested positive for Coronavirus are 49,596 (+292 compared to yesterday), the negative ones 596,556.

Friuli Venezia Giulia, 266 new infections and 22 deaths


The number of Covid-19 cases in Friuli Venezia Giulia decreases but the number of deaths remains high.

Today there are 166 new infections out of 4,306 molecular swabs and 120 out of 2,960 rapid antigenic tests carried out.

There are 22 registered deaths, hospitalizations in intensive care units drop to 79, those in other departments are 584, 12,299 people are in isolation.

100,000 infections in the region exceeded since the beginning of the pandemic, 100,016.

Deaths from Covid-19 amounted to 3,424.

The totally healed are 79,305, the clinically healed 4,325.



Sardinia, 5 deaths and 263 new cases


There are 263 new cases of Coronavirus in Sardinia, 6,599 of the additional tests performed, with a positivity rate of just under 4%.

In the last 24 hours there have been 5 deaths.

The patients currently hospitalized are 294 (-3), while 47 remain in intensive care.

There are 15,649 people in home isolation, 117 more healed.

Of the 47,630 positive cases ascertained overall, 12,121 (+76) were detected in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari, 7,309 (+30) in Southern Sardinia, 4,081 (+38) in Oristano, 9,375 (+48) in Nuoro, 14,744 (+71 ) in Sassari.



In Abruzzo 219 positives and 13 deaths


Coronavirus infections increase today in Abruzzo with 219 positives more, yesterday they were just 47. The death toll records another 13 victims from Covid 19 (one less than yesterday), in the last hours , their number rises to 2,200.

The current positives are 10,397, 174 fewer than 24 hours ago.

The positivity rate is 2.5 percent, yesterday it was 3.2 percent.

There are 66,878 infected people registered since the beginning of the health emergency.

The positives also included 54,281 healed (379 more than yesterday).

A total of 916,707 molecular swabs have been performed since the start of the pandemic (5,277 more than yesterday) and 363,953 antigen tests (3,299 compared to yesterday).

The number of beds occupied in the medical area for covid patients is 592 (11 less than yesterday).

In intensive care, 72 people are hospitalized (2 more than yesterday, with 6 new hospitalizations and 4 discharges).

Other 9,733 people (165 fewer than 24 hours ago) are in home isolation with active surveillance by the ASL.



103 new infections and 5 deaths in Trentino


Another 5 coronavirus deaths in Trentino, according to today's bulletin of the Provincial Health Services Agency which reports 103 new cases of contagion.

In detail, 1,092 molecular swabs identified 38 new positive cases and confirmed 68 positivity intercepted in recent days by rapid tests.

From the 1,215 rapid antigenic swabs notified yesterday to the health authority, 65 new positive cases emerged.

There are 214 hospitalized patients in hospitals, 48 ​​of whom are in resuscitation (5 fewer than yesterday).

Yesterday 11 new hospitalizations were registered, but the discharges were exactly double (22).

There are 232 new healings. Of the more than 107,000 vaccines administered so far, 35,616 refer to second doses, 48,065 to administrations in favor of over eighty-year-olds and 15,195 refer to the 70-79 age group.



61 cases and 2 deaths in Valle d'Aosta


In the last 24 hours in Valle d'Aosta 61 new cases positive for Covid-19 have been detected compared to 407 people subjected to swabs.

There were two deaths, a man and a woman.

The number of patients admitted to the Parini hospital also continues to grow: there are 72, of which 13 in intensive care.

The total of the infected rises to 1,173, 24 less than yesterday.
