Lörrach (dpa / lsw) - In the legal dispute about eating together in a retirement home in southern Baden, both parties are examining a settlement proposal from the Administrative Court of Baden-Württemberg.

Accordingly, the operation of the cafeteria as a common room for vaccinated and recovered residents and employees could be allowed.

The VGH justified this with a reassessment by the Robert Koch Institute, according to which vaccinated people are hardly contagious.

A spokesman for the Lörrach district office said on Wednesday that the proposal would be examined.

The center's lawyer wants to do the same.

He has doubts as to whether the settlement will be effective at all if a final decision has already been made.

In the opinion of the VGH, however, this is possible with an open hearing complaint procedure.

In mid-March, the VGH in Mannheim rejected the planned opening.

The operators then filed a notice of hearing.
