Hannover (AP) - Center forward Hendrik Weydandt is available again for Hannover 96 in the catch-up game against the Würzburger Kickers.
“He is fully operational,” said 96 coach Kenan Kocak on Wednesday and added: “He trained properly yesterday.
It is sure to be an option tomorrow from the start. "
Weydandt missed the spectacular 3: 3 in the north duel against Hamburger SV last Sunday because of an acute inflammation of the salivary glands.
Against the bottom of the table from Würzburg, Hanover is the clear favorite this Thursday (6.30 p.m. / Sky).
The Lower Saxony had lost the first leg with 1: 2.
"That was one of the worst days I've seen as a coach," said Kocak.
The 40-year-old was unable to be on the sidelines due to back problems.
"We still have a bill," said Kocak.
"We have to win the game, we can win the game, and that has to get into our heads."
