Authorized by the European Medicines Agency in early January, the Moderna vaccine against Covid-19 has been administered in France since the beginning of the year.
Even before its validation, the European Union had pre-ordered 160 million doses, before purchasing an additional 300 million in February.
For the moment, only 1.4 million of them have been delivered in France.

The laboratory had announced a delivery rate of 500,000 doses per month.
By way of comparison, Pfizer was betting on the delivery of 500,000 doses per week at the same time - before suffering a significant delay in starting up.
In a few days, the Swedish group Recipharm will begin to bottle vaccines from Moderna in Indre-et-Loire.
On Wednesday, for the first time, anti-Covid-19 vaccines, those from Pfizer, were bottled in France.
An announcement welcomed by President Emmanuel Macron, even if there will be no immediate effect on the vaccination campaign: once they leave the factories, it takes nearly a month to approve the vaccines.
