Halle (dpa / sa) - 29 daycare centers, after-school care centers and elementary schools in the south of Saxony-Anhalt have been recognized as the “House of Little Researchers”.
The institutions are particularly committed to the technical and scientific education of children, announced the Halle-Dessau Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) on Wednesday.
It is a regional partner of the nationwide initiative and supported the institutions with a discovery package with various research materials.
The IHK has been working with daycare centers, after-school care centers and elementary schools since 2009 and has initiated workshops for educators as part of the “House of Little Researchers” initiative.
The aim of the project is to get girls and boys between the ages of three and ten years interested in scientific and technical topics.
