China News Service, Hancheng, Shaanxi, April 6th (Liu Likun) On the 5th, the Shaanxi interview group of the overseas Chinese media "Chasing Dreams of China·Love Me Yellow River" went to the Yellow River Hukou Waterfall and visited Hancheng Dangjia Village and Hancheng Liangdai Village Rui National Heritage Museum, etc., to learn more about local history and culture.

  Known as the "Wonder of the Yellow River", Hukou Waterfall is the second largest waterfall in China. It was designated as a national key scenic spot in 1988 and became a national geological park in 2016.

The scenic area with Hukou Waterfall as the center integrates the Yellow River Canyon, the Loess Plateau, and the ancient highland villages as a whole, showing the magnificent natural landscape of the Yellow River Basin.

  Through the explanation by the director of Yichuan County Cultural Relics Bureau, the interview team fully understood the history of Yichuan and the culture of the Yellow River.

The interview team also sang the song "Defend the Yellow River" on the spot, and had a deep understanding of the Chinese nation's spirit of self-improvement represented by Hukou Waterfall.

  Afterwards, the interview team visited the ancient buildings of Dangjia Village in Hancheng.

Dangjia Village was originally built in 1331 and was originally named Dongyang Bay. It was successively renamed Dangjiawan and Dangjia Village. The residents were mainly from the Dang and Jia surnames. It was expanded many times during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

  The Dangjiacun courtyard is a typical representative of Hancheng dwellings.

In 2001, the ancient buildings of Dangjia Village were listed by the State Council as a national key cultural relics protection unit; in 2003, they were selected as the first batch of Chinese historical and cultural villages and included in the "International Traditional Residential Research Project".

  The interview team also visited the Ruiguo Site Museum in Liangdai Village, Hancheng, and had discussions with relevant departments of Hancheng, and exchanged views on Hancheng's history, culture, and economic development.

  The “Dream of China·Love Me Yellow River” overseas Chinese media Shaanxi interview activity is guided by the China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and hosted by the Shaanxi Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese. It is from Canada, Malaysia, Australia, the United States, Italy, France, Egypt and other countries, as well as 18 Chinese from Hong Kong. The media visited Huangling, Yichuan, Hancheng, Huayin and other places for 6 days of interviews.
