Gelsenkirchen (dpa) - Schalke coach Dimitrios Grammozis can imagine a contract extension with Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.
"On the last day of the match, Klaas once again showed what quality he has," said the coach of the Bundesliga club in danger of relegation, praising the Dutch attacker on the pay-TV channel Sky.
"We will use the next days and weeks to talk to him and see what Klaas actually wants."
Huntelaar had returned to Schalke in the last transfer phase from Ajax Amsterdam.
The 37-year-old center forward has only made three appearances due to injuries and scored the goal for the knocked-down bottom of the table on Saturday in the 2-1 defeat against Bayer Leverkusen.
