After receiving several complaints that the restaurant in the south of Helsingborg has continued operations after 20.30, in violation of current rules to prevent the spread of covid-19, the municipality's environmental administration made an unannounced inspection on the first of April.
Then it was discovered that there was indeed a lot of serving activity in the room.
"Approach studied"
However, the entrance to the street was locked and the inspectors interpreted this as the restaurant deliberately cheating with the rules.
“The approach of closing the regular entrance and using the back door has been studied to avoid supervision of compliance. In view of the repeated complaints, the violation appears to occur systematically, ”the
Environmental Administration writes in a decision.
The restaurant is now threatened with a fine of SEK 50,000 for each time the rules are violated from now on.
