“A sharp complication of the situation has been recorded in Turkey, since mid-March there has been an increase in the number of registered cases of new coronavirus infection by more than 40%, that is, a fairly intensive, explosive growth,” she said.  

According to her, the situation in Turkey is similar to the spread of coronavirus in the UK at the end of 2020, when a number of countries had to suspend flights. 

She noted that Rospotrebnadzor keeps the situation under control.

On April 4, it was reported that 44,576 cases of coronavirus were detected in Turkey per day.
