06 April 2021 Back to school, even in the areas still colored in red.

The Ministry of the Interior turns to government representatives in the Italian provinces to ensure that all necessary measures are applied to avoid contagion.

Carefully monitor the school-transport link.

On the eve of the restart of face-to-face lessons in many areas, this is what the Interior Ministry recommends to the prefects with a circular on the decree law of 1 April 2021 containing new anti Covid measures.

The prefects - writes the head of the cabinet, Bruno Frattasi - are invited to "undertake, within the technical coordination tables set up for this purpose, any useful initiative aimed at monitoring the state of implementation of the so-called operational documents, containing the methods of return to class of the student population and the evaluation of the impact of the related mobility application on the local public transport system ".

The circular recalls the parameters to be "taken as a reference in relation to the capacity of the vehicles, as set by the dpcm March 2, 2021 and the related technical annexes and guidelines": "filling coefficient of vehicles used for local public transport not exceeding 50% of the places allowed by the registration certificate ";

"filling coefficient of 80% for dedicated school means of transport, increased to the maximum extent of 100% in the case in which the permanence of the pupils on the vehicle does not exceed 15 minutes".
