In the night from Saturday to Sunday, 64 people were fined for non-compliance with the curfew, in Agde (Hérault), indicate the police services at

20 Minutes.

These young people are suspected of having considered going to an underground party, prohibited by the measures in force to fight against the Covid-19 epidemic.

They were intercepted by the police near the place where the evening was scheduled.

Another person was also fined for the organization of this evening.

A party stopped last week

On the night of 30 to 31, the police officers of Hérault had already intervened to put an end to a clandestine party, in Montpellier, in the basements of a student residence.

The police proceeded to verbalize 24 people.

"In everyone's interest, checks of this type will continue to prevent the spread of the virus," Hérault police said.
