Binde (dpa / sa) - There was a fire in a pig fattening facility in Binde in the Altmarkkreis on Tuesday afternoon.
People were not injured, but two pigs died, as the police in Salzwedel announced in the evening.
The fire broke out in an area of the stables and a roof and was extinguished by the volunteer fire brigade.
After initial investigations, a technical defect is assumed to be the cause of the fire.
The amount of damage is around 50,000 euros.
