06 April 2021 After the Easter break, European stock exchanges restart with momentum, in the wake of the latest Wall Street records and news coming from England, ready to gradually ease anti-Covid measures.

Milan marks an increase of 0.42% in perfect line with Paris, Frankfurt gains three quarters of a point, but the best is London, up by more than one percentage point.

The Europeans do not follow the Asians, which today are decidedly contrasted.

Tokyo closed heavily at -1.30%: the fears of the increase in Covid cases are pushing the Nikkei down.

Shanghai, on the other hand, is flat, while analysts speak of the US overtaking China in GDP growth forecasts.

Overseas, therefore, Wall Street is very tonic, with the Down Jones at + 1.13% and the Nasdaq at + 1.67%.

Markets are reacting very well to the latest US employment figures: 916,000 jobs were created in March, well beyond expectations.
