Worms (dpa / lrs) - A 20-year-old car driver was on a chase with the police in Worms.
He drove through a red light on Monday evening and was watched by two officers, the police said on Tuesday.
When she tried to control the driver, he fled.
He ignored several red lights, drove in the opposite lane and in a roundabout in the wrong direction.
Since there was hardly any traffic on the streets, nobody was endangered.
The officers stopped the man a little later.
Upon inspection, they found that he was drugged.
The police also discovered cannabis in the car.
The 20-year-old had to give a blood sample and his driver's license.
