Mainz (dpa / lrs) - The police and public order offices in Rhineland-Palatinate found a total of around 1200 violations of the applicable Corona regulations between Maundy Thursday and Easter Monday.

Among other things, around 350 violations of the applicable exit restrictions and around 350 unauthorized gatherings of people in public spaces were registered.

In addition, the obligation to wear a mouth and nose cover had been violated 240 times.

150 violations related to the obligation to keep the minimum distance.

The man took a seat with other people on a terrace of a restaurant without being able to show a negative corona test.
