The police have not yet arrested anyone suspected of the act.

- We are waiting for analytical results from the technical investigation, we also have no one detained and do not rule out that there are several perpetrators, says Åsa Harplinger Jovalli at the police department for serious crimes.

It was the night of March 23 that the police were alerted to a powerful explosion in Höganäs.

A total of six families were evacuated as a result of their apartments being damaged by the explosion.

Planned move-in

During the Easter week, three of the affected families moved back to their homes.

Now on Friday, the last family will be allowed to move home again while two families have chosen other accommodation.

- They were literally bombed from their homes and needed to feel some form of security.

We keep to the schedule and have worked full time to give them a home again, says Jesper Månsson.

No increased monitoring

In the acute phase after the bombing, Höganäshem added extra efforts with a 24-hour emergency service where residents in the area could turn, as well as patrols to increase security.

Despite the bombing, Höganäshem does not want permanent measures such as patrolling security guards or surveillance cameras.

- We have had extra efforts to increase security in the area, at the same time we want the anxiety to disappear and for people to return to a normal everyday life.

We do not want uniformed people and cameras because it can be associated with something bad, says Jesper Månsson.
