Weimar (dpa / th) - A 13-year-old grabbed his father's car in Weimar for an unauthorized joyride.
The 37-year-old man apparently did not notice anything at first and reported his car as stolen, as the police announced on Tuesday.
It was only in the course of the investigation into the incident on Monday that it turned out that the son was driving.
There is now a case against the 13-year-old because of the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and driving without a license.
