At the plenary session of the House of Representatives on the 8th, Prime Minister Suga proposed an amendment to the law, which would raise the burden of medical expenses for people aged 75 and over from the current principle of 10% to 20% for people with an annual income of 2 million yen or more. The Minister will also attend to explain the purpose and ask questions.

As the so-called baby boomer generation is about to reach the age of 75 and over, and the medical expenses are expected to increase further, the government will pay the window burden of medical expenses for those aged 75 and over, which is 10% in principle, with an annual income of 200. We have submitted to the Diet a bill to amend the law, such as raising the rate to 20% for people over 10,000 yen.

The House of Representatives Steering Committee held a plenary session of the House of Representatives on the 8th at the board meeting on the 6th, and the ruling and opposition parties agreed that Prime Minister Suga would also attend to explain the purpose and ask questions.
