On Sunday April 11, Chadians will go to the polls to elect their president.

The outgoing Idriss Déby Itno is running for a sixth term.

In total, ten candidates have been registered by the authorities, although some have announced that they are no longer seeking the vote of the voters.

RFI gives them the floor so that they can talk about their diagnosis of the country, their proposals and the choice to participate or not in this election.

First guest, Balthazar Alladoum Djarma, president of the Chadian Socialist Action Party for Renewal (Astre).
