April 05, 2021New health woes for Alexey Navalny, Putin's main opponent in Russia.

Navalny is currently being held in a penal colony in the Vladimir region.

"I have a fever of 38 and cough, in my detention team there are three tuberculosis patients out of 15 people, or 20% of inmates," he wrote on Instagram.

"Of course I continue the hunger strike, to see my right to be seen by my trusted doctors respected," he added.

The Russian opponent, who is in a prison camp about a hundred kilometers from Moscow, has already complained of severe back pain and temporary paralysis in one leg. Last Wednesday, Navalny announced the start of a hunger strike, in protest against the lack of adequate medical care.
