Hamburg (dpa / lno) - The Hamburg miniature wonderland has used the corona-related closure for a sonorous new world record.

On Monday, the operators of the model railway exhibition published the video of a train traveling on its own route through the entire layout, intoning well-known classic melodies.

Two small clappers are mounted on the electric locomotive that hit glasses while driving.

The glasses are filled with water so high that they produce the appropriate tones when you hit them.

The miniature wonderland operators successfully presented the train ride with the classic medley, which ends after six minutes at the Vatican, to representatives of Guinness World Records, according to a press release.

The Hamburg tourist attraction now holds the title "Longest melody played by a model train".

“I am incredibly proud of this record and this wonderful video,” said co-founder Frederik Braun.

The miniature wonderland, which had to do without around a million guests last year, is now hoping for many clicks worldwide.
