Dortmund (dpa / lnw) - The Rhine-Ruhr Easter March came to an end on Monday with a final rally in Dortmund.

Numerous participants met in the city center under the motto “disarming instead of upgrading”.

According to the organizer, around 250 people came together.

Before that, there had already been a kick-off rally in the Dorstfeld district.

It was all peaceful, as the police announced.

According to the organizers, an originally planned Easter peace prayer could not take place on site in Dortmund due to the corona incidence figures.

The devotion was recorded and can be seen on YouTube.

The Rhine-Ruhr Easter March is the largest event of the pacifist movement in North Rhine-Westphalia on Easter days.

The march began on Saturday with a rally in Dortmund, followed by a bike tour through the Ruhr area on Easter Sunday.
