The updated situation in Italy and in the world

There are 296 deaths related to coronavirus recorded in Italy in the last 24 hours, bringing the total from the beginning of the pandemic to 111,326.

This was announced by the Ministry of Health.



There are 10,680 coronavirus test positives in Italy in the last 24 hours.

Yesterday there were 18,025. 



There are 102,795 molecular and antigenic swabs for the coronavirus carried out in the last 24 hours in Italy, according to data from the Ministry of Health.

Yesterday there were 250,933 tests, over 48,000 more than on Easter Sunday.



There are 3,737 patients hospitalized in intensive care for Covid in Italy, an increase of 34 units compared to yesterday in the daily balance between entries and exits, while the daily entries in intensive care, according to data from the Ministry of Health, are 192 (yesterday 195) .

On the other hand, 28,785 people are hospitalized in the ordinary wards, an increase of 353 units compared to yesterday. 



The positivity rate spikes to 10.4%, yesterday it was 7.1%.

Emilia Romagna

In Emilia-Romagna,

Yesterday, Easter Sunday, 6,299 swabs were performed, with a positive rate of 23.7%.

The average age of new positives is 42.5 years.

As for the total number of people healed, they are 1,437 more than yesterday and reach 260,051.

The active cases, that is the actual patients, to date are 72,206 (+18 compared to yesterday).

There are 366 patients admitted to intensive care (+6 compared to yesterday).



Lazio

Today out of over 9 thousand swabs in Lazio (-5.989) and almost 2 thousand antigenic for a total of over 11 thousand tests, there are

1,419

positive cases (-104), 32 deaths (+6) and +806 cured.

Cases in Rome city are at an altitude of 700. 



Piedmont

Today the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region communicated

new cases of people who tested positive for Covid-19 (of which 52 after antigen tests), equal to 9.9% of the 8,158 swabs performed, of which 3,442 antigenic.

The total number of positive cases becomes 322,190 The number of people admitted to intensive care is 365 (-5 compared to yesterday).

The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 3,858,478 (+8,158 compared to yesterday).

There are 13 deaths.



Puglia

Out of 3,978 tests for Covid-19 infection,

positive cases

were recorded today in Puglia

, with a positivity rate of 17% and 20 deaths.

Since the beginning of the emergency, 1,926,979 tests have been carried out.

145,721 are the patients recovered.

There are 51,220 cases currently positive.

There is a new Covid alarm in Sassari, where in just 5 days the cases of positive Covid have doubled from 31 to
