British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced yesterday that everyone in Britain will be able to get tested for "Covid-19" twice a week, as part of a new effort to combat the pandemic, with the easing of societal restrictions, and the continuation of vaccination at its rapid pace.

While the Japanese Prime Minister, Yoshihide Suga, said that the injuries of "Corona" had not yet reached the level of "the fourth wave ... but vigilance is required", India recorded more than 100,000 new cases of "Corona" in a record daily toll, as Maharashtra imposed Hardest hit by the pandemic, new restrictions to contain the virus.

In detail, the British Prime Minister said that everyone in Britain will be able to undergo a "Covid-19" examination twice a week, stressing that the new examination program will break the chains of transmission of infection, and will help monitor cases that do not show symptoms.

With most of Europe's countries entering into new isolation measures to deal with the rise in HIV cases, Johnson devised a plan to ease restrictions in the coming months, which would give a strong impetus to one of the countries most affected by the pandemic.

The prime minister said in a statement, "As we continue to make good progress in the vaccination campaign, and as we proceed to follow the road map that we have set to carefully ease restrictions, rapid periodic checks become more important to ensure that these efforts are not in vain."

Johnson is expected to confirm the reopening of all retail stores, open hospitality places, and hairdressing salons from April 12 in Britain, and there will also be a system to classify countries based on infection levels and vaccinations in order to allow international travel.

Under the current plan, international travel will not be permitted before May 17 at the earliest.

The Financial Times said Johnson was not expected to set a specific timeframe.

Johnson will unveil a new traffic light system to manage international travel amid the "Corona" pandemic after May 17.

It will announce a red, yellow and green light system for residents of England who want to go on vacations abroad.

"Each country will be given a rating that determines whether travelers need a stone after returning," said a statement from Johnson's office.

Countries under the green mean that residents will need to undergo coronavirus tests before and after departure, but they will not need to undergo a quarantine upon return to England.

Countries under the colors yellow and red mean that citizens will have to undergo tests and go into quarantine upon their return.

The system will be based on the number of people who received the vaccination in each country, the rate of infection and new variants of the Coronavirus, and the country's access to "reliable scientific data and genetic sequences."

While the traffic light system applies to England only, the British government is reportedly in talks with governments in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

In Tokyo, the Japanese Prime Minister, Yoshihide Suga, said yesterday that the increase in the number of cases of Coronavirus has not yet reached the point of an outbreak of a "fourth wave" nationwide, but that the matter requires "more vigilance."

Suga's comments came during a special session of the Senate Audit Committee, in response to a question by an opposition lawmaker about the prime minister's vision of the possibility of a fourth wave of injuries, according to what was reported by the Japanese Radio and Television Corporation (NHK).

Meanwhile, the largest ever shipment of vaccines against the emerging corona virus arrived in Japan, before the start of the vaccination campaign for the elderly next week.

The Japanese Radio and Television Corporation stated that the shipment of "Pfizer - Biontech" vaccine arrived at "Narita" airport near Tokyo from Belgium, where the drug manufacturer has a production base there.

It is noteworthy that the shipment is the 11th that the company delivers to Japan.

In India, the Indian state of Maharashtra, the most affected by the pandemic, imposed yesterday new restrictions to contain the Corona virus, while the country recorded for the first time more than 100,000 new infections within 24 hours, which represents the largest number of infections recorded in one day since the start Pandemic.

The data released by the Ministry of Health showed that 103,558 new infections were recorded in the past 24 hours.

The new record number of injuries came to 5,500 cases higher than the previous record, which amounted to 97894, which was recorded on September 17 of last year.

Also, 478 new deaths were recorded, bringing the total to 165,101 cases.

India is struggling to control the second wave of Corona infections, whose main focus is Maharashtra, the richest state in the country, as this state alone witnessed 57,074 injuries.

Maharashtra, whose capital is Mumbai, has a population of 110 million.

The local authorities decided to extend curfew hours, impose a complete closure at the weekend, close bars, restaurants, cinemas, swimming pools, places of worship, public places and private offices, and ban meetings with more than four people.

For its part, Bangladesh began a nationwide lockdown for a week yesterday to slow the spread of the Coronavirus, despite many in the capital Dhaka challenging the closure orders.

Due to the increasing number of Corona injuries, the government decided to impose a nationwide lockdown, with the exception of emergency services.

Saudi Arabia only allows those who received the Corona vaccine to perform Umrah during Ramadan

The Saudi authorities announced yesterday that they will only allow people who have received the vaccine against the Coronavirus to perform Umrah and prayers at the Grand Mosque in Makkah, during the month of Ramadan.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said in a statement that granting permits to perform the rituals of Umrah and prayers in the Grand Mosque in Makkah, as well as visiting the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina, will be “starting from the first of Ramadan .. to the fortified persons.”

On the other hand, the Saudi Ministry of Health announced yesterday that a total of five million doses of the Coronavirus vaccine have been provided in the Kingdom, through more than 500 vaccination centers.

The Ministry of Health called on everyone to initiate registration in the "My Health" application to obtain the "Corona" vaccine, in order to preserve the health and safety of all members of society, stressing at the same time the need to adhere to the precautionary measures, to limit the spread of the Corona virus.

This comes, while the Ministry warned, the day before yesterday, of the rise in HIV infections, noting that the lack of commitment and laxity in the precautions was reflected in the number of daily and critical cases, which became similar to the numbers recorded in mid-April of last year.
