The 22 mummies at the Cairo Egyptian Museum head to the newly built Egyptian Museum of Civilization in a gold-clad car.

The transferred mummies include the 16th-century pharaoh Sekenenre Tao II, Ramses II, who reigned for 67 years and led the heyday of the Egyptian kingdom, and Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt's first female pharaoh.

It is said that the Egyptian authorities worked hard for nearly three years for the mummies.

To prevent damage, the mummies were placed in a nitrogen-filled box and then moved for 30 minutes in a vehicle equipped with a special shock absorber.

After arriving at the new home, I was greeted with 21 guns and entered the museum.

Netizens said, “It can’t be so splendid~ I've just moved the scene from the movie.”
