In accordance with the relevant arrangements announced by French President Macron this week, the "cities lockdown" measures that have taken effect in 19 provinces of France have been extended to the entire territory of France starting on the 3rd for a period of 4 weeks.

The main measures include: people must not travel more than 10 kilometers within the radius of their residence without necessary reasons; closure of "non-essential" stores; and further strengthening of remote office.

In addition, the curfew is still valid throughout the French mainland; schools are closed for 3 weeks.

In addition to the above measures, French officials also announced the prohibition of drinking in outdoor public places and prohibiting outdoor gatherings of more than 6 people.

French officials stated that law enforcement officers will step up inspections to supervise people’s compliance with relevant measures to prevent further spread of the virus.
