Right now, SMHI has issued a risk of grass fires throughout the county.
In the northern part of the county, the risk is considered to be high, as well as in certain areas in the southern part.
In southern Värmland in general, the risk is assessed as moderate.
The risk is issued for Sunday and Monday.

At 12.13 on Sunday, SOS alarm received a phone call about a grass fire on Klasmossen's IP.
When the rescue service arrived, an area of about 10x10 meters burned.
The fire could be extinguished quickly and the rescue service soaked the edges around the field.
Every year, the risk of grass fires is great in the spring when last year's grass dries up. This means that fires can easily occur and spread in the dry grass.
