Diepholz (dpa / lni) - After three fires in Diepholz on Easter Sunday night, the police used a helicopter and thermal imaging camera to search for a suspected arsonist.
Witnesses spoke of a person dressed in black, the police said.
At night, a heap of plastic waste in a recycling company caught fire in the district town.
A little later, two vehicles burned out, one of which belonged to Deutsche Bahn.
The fire brigade quickly extinguished all three fires so that no further damage occurred, the police said.
Several people were found and checked during the search.
According to a spokesman, the person he was looking for was not there.
